ADVOCATE FOR IMPROVED ANTENATAL, FAMILY PLANNING TO ACHIEVE RESULTS

The federal government has lamented over the high rate of maternal deaths in the country, saying Sokoto state takes the lead.

The special adviser to the president on health Dr. Salma Anas disclosed this while speaking on the need to accelerate the reduction of maternal and newborn deaths before the governor of Sokoto state, Ahmad Aliyu in Abuja.

He urged the state to embrace the use of family planning to reduce the ugly figure threatening human existence
