Nasarawa state Governor, Abdullahi Sule announced this at a press briefing ahead of this year’s Nasarawa Investment summit, which is aimed at exploring the mining potentials of the state to generate revenue. The processing plant, to be commissioned in May, has a capacity of processing 4,000 metric tonnes of pure lithium. Governor Sule says this will attract foreign direct investment and boost employment rate in the state. Highlighting the state’s commitment to industrialization and innovation using the platform of the 2024 investment summit, the Governor is confident that the state will soon emerge as a hub for investments and business opportunities in Nigeria.
