To Push For This Development, A Sports Foundation Has Organised An Exhibition Game In Abuja To Create Awareness On Sports Development In Nigera.
Despite The Abundant Talents That Abound In Sports Across Nigeria, Some Nigerian Athletes Find It Hard To Participate Because They Lack Access To Facilities, Training Kits, Better Welfare And Reward Package, And Injury Recovery Plan Among Challenges That Hamper Their Development.
The Need To Bridge This Gap Is What Prompted Hand To Hand Sports Foundation To Organise A One-Day Exhibition Game In Handball At The Handball Court, Old Parade Ground Abuja.
The Exhibition Conducted In A Round Robin Form Where Points Are Used To Determine Winners, Had Five Teams Namely D’defenders, Safety Shooters, Correctional Boys, Nyanyan All Stars And Sulejah Shooters Who All Displayed Their Skills Happily At The Games.
Training Kits And Shoes Were Ditributed To A Young Boxing Team While The Handballers Received Shoes And Kits To Boost Their Performance And Also Encourage Them To Do Well In Their Sporting Carreer.
One Of The Young Boxers Appreciated The Gesture And Called For More Support To Help Develop Other Sports.
