I always avidly love to watch these videos featuring Igbo cities!
I am mostly impressed ( apart from Aba) with these cities!
In fact they are no more or less than any other Nigerian cities!
So , just why is IPOB making noise and causing trouble and heating up the polity ?
For over 20 full years ( 23 years to be exact) the states in Nigeria have all been governed by state indigenes !
That goes for the 5 Igbo states!
The state governor of any state has to be held responsible for development in that state !
This argument that an infrastructure within a state is federal owned needs to stop !
State governments should buckle down to find ways to increase revenues for their respective states, in addition to federal allocation!
We are allowing state governments to be lazy and uninspired!
And yet , nobody in our Nigerian politics pose more than our governors!
They are the ones mostly parading their uglyy wives at social events, always carrying walking sticks and riding round in long convoys as if they are ruling monarchs or emperors!
In the meantime, after 23 years of democracy, we are yet to see the needed dividends!
Those cement dividers are an eyesore. I understand they help prevent head on collisions that can happen due to the narrow road, but there has to be a better way to construct the roads.
You mean someone will drive and drive before seeing where to make a U-turn back towards their destination, assuming it’s on the left hand side?🤦🏽♀️
