Attaullah Tarar, a leader from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), asserted on Monday that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) lacks genuine voters and supporters, relying solely on financial resources. Tarar accused Bilawal Bhutto of attempting to influence the peace of Lahore by engaging in vote-buying.

Addressing the media in Lahore, Atta Tarar expressed confidence in their election victory, asserting that the people of Lahore would reject the monetary influence, and the strategy employed by PPP would be unsuccessful. He predicted their defeat, declaring that the politics of corruption would be laid to rest.

Tarar criticized the PPP for not establishing a single hospital comparable to the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) in Sindh. While acknowledging his ability to tarnish reputations, he refrained from doing so, citing his mother’s advice against naming and shaming anyone.

The PML-N leader claimed to have caught individuals involved in bribery, providing details and submitting them. Tarar accused Bilawal Bhutto of nervously investing money in the election. He highlighted that statements regarding bribery had been recorded with the District Monitoring Officer, affirming the neutrality of both the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and the Caretaker Chief Minister.

Further criticizing PPP, Tarar pointed out the state of ruin in Karachi due to corruption and the lack of water drainage during rain in Lahore. He urged Bilawal Bhutto to focus on comparing educational systems rather than making comparisons related to rain. Tarar accused Bilawal of attempting to tarnish Lahore’s politics, labeling him a feudal. He also mentioned the tax contribution of Karachi to the Orange Train and Metro Bus, which pass through Lahore.
