Students of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi lost their lives in a stampede, when students looted rice given by the state government for distribution. The incident occurred at Convocation Square, where the bags of Rice were kept awaiting the arrival of Governor Sule to begin distribution. 23 others are currently receiving treatment at the hospital for various degrees of injury.
