Rochas built the monument and called it the hand of God hence the 'Akachi' and the road was also called same, it wasn't called the hand of Rochas to the best of my knowledge.. The hand was at the uppermost top because it was destroyed or broke down…

Great video! The name 'Akachi' was due to the statute tower had a large hand sculpture but the hand was taken down after Rochas was replaced by another Governor (I believe when Ihedioha briefly took over).

the music is too loud and too much. as for the city its still too dirty but looks a lot more organized than the other cities i've see in Nigeria especially the igbo areas…here in the states most aware people tend to think the igbo are a really smart group in africa because we do so well in America. Our homeland should be shining and prosperous. we have a lot of work to do.
