“No Decision” On Future Of US Troops In Niger As Russia, China Aim At Oil, Security In African State

Niger has begun courting new international supporters, just days after it severed military ties with the United States. A week after Niger’s decision, officials from the Chinese embassy and executives from the CNPC* met the ruling military junta. They have not been the only officials to hold talks with the Niger government over the last two weeks. The meeting was part of what the West African nation calls its “diversification of international partnerships” plan. Niger has been distancing itself from its former Western partners since a military coup in July and moving closer to China and Russia. Meanwhile, Washington said it has not made any decisions regarding the withdrawal of its forces from Niger. Watch the video to find out more.

  10. No decision? ITS NOT THE US DECISION TO MAKE. Not their place to "decide" anything more or less than to **comply**. Nothing to talk about. These land stealers are not wanted, not welcome, and need to leave ASAP!!!

  12. This is great news for the Motherland, Africa.

    We know how the United States usually behaves when she’s dispossessed of her former colonies. She may want repercussions and payback by some measure of underhanded tactics in retaliation for Africa having the nerve to asked the Americans to leave.

    Just know, America may try to come blasting her way back in, but she’s gonna have to fight Niger, China and Russia in a losing battle.

    China and Russia will protect Nigers and their interests against America and the West.

    America and the West have hardly done anything for Africa and in Africa except sit on Africa making sure it doesn’t progress and prospers but keep taking Africa’s raw materials right from under Africa nose.

    That was all they wanted to do anyway. No development, no building of infrastructures, no anything. Same with France and others.

    Time to move them out and build with new partnerships. China will build new bridges, highways, hospitals, housing, water facilities, sewage treatment facilities, malls, supermarkets in matter of days, months and a few years.

    How long has America and the West been there? What have they done? What have they accomplished? What have they built?

    Looks like Farrakhan has been right all along. The sun is setting on the West. Their days of ruling is on the way out.

    Farrakhan has been trying to build for black Americans but the government thwarted his every move. Now, with the advent of new partnerships in the East, maybe some good can come to black Americans soon. These black mayor’s around the country should sign up with BRICS and bring economic development to the black communities. Black Americans should not have to wait around for some benevolent white politician to do something for the blacks when we have it within ourselves to make it happen.

  13. Excuse me, but with all due respect, the United States has never been a friend of African Americans or Africans. Since when has slavery, colonization, exploitation disenfranchisement, rape, murder, pillaging and assassinations been a sign of friendship. What you call friendship is bullying. The EU and US future in Africa is non-existent. What is he the future of African Americans in the USA?

  16. As a European, I'm SO happy for Africans and this new wind in Africa. For my whole life I was puzzled and confused about how there were African countries so rich in resources, yet it didn't show. It's not as if anyone was explained anything whatsoever.
    Now I cling to African channels, and learn so much, history, politics, culture, and over anything else i see dignity and feel hope.
