President Bola Tinubu celebrated Eid-El-Fitr with fellow Muslims at the Dodan Barracks Mosque in Lagos, joining dignitaries like the deputy governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, and former governor Babatunde Fashola.

Reflecting on the significance of the festival, Chief Imam Sheikh Suleiman Abdussallah emphasized its promotion of sacrifice, unity, and tolerance. President Tinubu, in his post-prayer address, urged Nigerians to maintain resilience and patriotism, highlighting the importance of hope in national development. Meanwhile, state governors echoed similar sentiments of forgiveness, peace, and prayers for the nation’s leadership.

The three-day Eid-El-Fitr celebration follows the conclusion of Ramadan and underscores the spirit of unity and faith among Nigerian Muslims.
