An estimated 200 people were killed and 10,000 displaced in attacks by armed bandits in the northwestern Nigerian state of Zamfara following military air raids on their hideouts last week.

In the northwest you have ISIS and Boko Haram Islamic militants. How many times did they repeatedly say "bandits". To describe the killing of 200 ppl as an act of "desperation " makes zero sense. None of it makes sense hundreds were murdered it was done by a governed military,. My guess is it has more to do with The people "displaced" aka globalization tactic
Nigeria has to be put on an international travel ban, as there is no law and order at all.
