Nigerian comedian, AY suggests that his home was destroyed following his public endorsement of 2023 Labour Presidential aspirant Peter Obi.
During a stand-up comedy routine, Ayo Makun, known as AY, hinted that his house fire might be linked to his vocal support for Peter Obi in the 2023 Presidential race. Despite the incident, AY affirmed his backing for the Labour Party candidate.
AY hinted at feeling pressured by his social media followers to take a stance, admitting he hadn’t faced issues before the fire.
He also humorously mentioned former Kogi state senator and gubernatorial candidate Dino Melaye, suggesting Melaye encouraged him to be outspoken, only to remain silent himself. AY urged respect for the government amidst the situation.
