Nigerian hip-hop and Afro-drill artiste, Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has said he wants to be akin to a reincarnation of legendary American rappers, DMX and 2Pac in Africa.
He stressed that his ambition is to be a global superstar and not ‘just a Nigerian artist’.
Odumodublvck stated this shortly after signing a transformative contract with the notable American multinational record label, Def Jam, recently.
“Back home in Nigeria, you have artists that are really stigmatised for using our cultural language. I don’t want them foreigners to say, ‘he’s Nigerian and he’s just Nigerian artist’.
“I want to be like the reincarnated DMX…If DMX and 2Pac were from Africa.” He said
