This is very wrong! This is unacceptable in this era . Please how many of the people in the crowd is without sin ? How many of them is free of sin? Do these people consider the children of these two families in Enugu Ezike before taking them round their town .

Till today, the Bible did not tell us the name of the man that was caught with Mary Magdalene but everyone knows that there was an adulterous woman that Jesus Christ saved .

Are there no elders in this town? Is there no traditional ruler that could have adjudicated on this issue? Why would anyone get involved in a private matter like this? This is not the right way to solve this type of problem. Jesus Christ adjudicated in a similar situation during his own time by asking anyone in the crowd who had no sin to cast the first stone on the woman caught in adultery but none did. The guilty woman known as Mary Magdalene went further to be one of the financial supporters of the ministry of Jesus. On resurrection day, she was the first one amongst those that wanted to kill her to see Jesus Christ, her Saviour and Lord. Now, assuming her life was prematurely terminated, would she had fulfilled her purpose in life? The same thing applies here. Yes, these people committed adultery which is wrong so to speak but God Almighty made a provision for the problem which is divorce and not a public display of the sinners or a walk of shame. May God help anyone involved in this charade that they do not commit any sin before they die but if they do, just be aware that they have judged yourself by this singular act and will definitely end up in hell. We cannot be more righteous or holier than God. As for the man and woman caught in adultery, i pray that you will find enough grace and strength to repent of your sins, forgive yourselves and everyone that judged and condemned you in your town and live the rest of your lives promoting the gospel and the kingdom of God like Mary Magdalene. Everything that happened in life happened for a reason. Just be wise enough to discover the reason and use it positively. Mary Magdalene discovered the reason her life was spared and subsequently used it to serve God faithfully. She never committed the same sin again, rather she preached the gospel with Jesus and used her resources to pay for the expenses of the Lord and his disciples. You too can do the same because apart from the public shame, God spared your lives. It could have been worse anyway. Use the second chance to do something positive and be the judge and advocate of everyone both young and old that did this to you. Live for Christ Jesus and the kingdom of God from now onwards.

I am honestly disappointed in you for posting this level of jungle judgement on these two people by this primitive community. This type of behaviour should not be encouraged. While adultery is not permissible it does not warrant people to be treated like this. I am sure that more than 70% of those people shouting are doing the same thing.
