A Kano state high court sitting in Miller Road has sentenced a Chinese national to death by hanging after being convicted for killing his girlfriend.
Late Umulkussum Buhari was said to have been killed by a Chinese man at her residence in the Rijiyar Zaki area of the Kano metropolis after some misunderstanding.
Kano state attorney general and commissioner for justice barrister Haruna Isah says justice has been served over the case that lasted for almost two years after the killing of Ummita.
