Residents of Kargo village, situated just four kilometers away from the Jigawa state capital, Dutse have decried the challenges they face in the due to the threat of soil erosion and lack of an access road to the village.
According to them, despite its proximity to the seat of power, the community faces an existential threat especially during the rainy season as residences are at the risk of being washed away by erosion.
