Bauchi Gov Election Petition Tribunal Affirms Governor Bala’s victory
The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Bauchi has dismissed the petitions filed by Sadique Abubakar, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC challenging the winner of the election, Bala Mohamed of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The chairman of the three-man justices, PT Khawhar, said in his ruling that the petitioner failed to prove his case beyond reasonable doubt, and therefore affirmed Bala Mohamed as the winner of the election.
