The All Progressives Congress Primary Election Appeal Committee in Ondo State announced on Monday that it had received three petitions contesting the victory of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the governorship primary held from Saturday to Sunday. The chairman of the committee, Mr. Muhammed Abubakar, revealed this during a press conference in Akure. The petitions were submitted by Wale Akinterinwa, Jimi Odimayo, and Gbenda Edema. Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi State and Chairman of the Primary Election Committee, had earlier declared Aiyedatiwa the winner of the Ondo APC primary election on Monday morning.
