  1. Good news on the international front is very hard to come by these days. Hence, a diplomatic reset between the United States and China is a very welcome development. It is much better that the United States and China talk about their differences and find common ground than destroy each other. Two world wars is two too many. For the sake of humanity never again…I continue to hope for a world not despaired by barbarism but inspired by civility..

  2. This is Filoli estate south of San Francisco. William Bourne the original owner/builder of Filoli would turn over in his grave to know Biden was in his home. He named Filoli after his lifelong creed: FI-ght for what's right, LO-ve your fellow man, LI-ve a good life… FI-LO-LI. ❤️🙏

  3. This went a WHOLE LOT BETTER than I anticipated. I was expecting something more along the lines of “kind but stern viewpoints” but the fact that they both recognized the impact of their relationship and the weight it carries, is commendable.
Hopefully we can meet somewhere in the middle. 🙂

  4. Xi actually understands and speaks English. He has a doctorate in law and a chemical engineer. They representt their countryb and likes to speak their language..

  5. At least nice words, better than threats and saber rattling ( let alone real destruction and war ).
Two old men expressing wisdom, something we haven't seen for a long time ( too long a time ) .

  6. MAGA extremists who were expressing their typically theatrical disapproval of the welcoming of Xi Jinping wouldn't have a clue about the dignity and statesmanship on display in this exchange.
