I would be very happy if either Jordan or Scalise becomes the new Speaker. They both have excellent records and they both are fighters for the people. This will be a tough decision when they vote, but they need to get with the program & vote. Things are not getting done until they elect a new speaker, in the the meanwhile the democrats are plotting away how they can disrupt everything for their agendas. They need to be stopped at every turn.

Fund raising as the prime requirement for speaker? I think not! I don't understand how the Fox talking heads seem to think fund raising ability is the prime requirement for speaker. If I am going to be 30 thousand feet in the air on an airplane I want a pilot that was chosen for his ability to fly the airplane and be able to think out of the box for situations never encountered before. Not how much money he has raised. If they choose that kind of speaker along with loyal to the Constitution and able to stand up to the democraps the money should follow. By the way, how much of that money that McCarthy raised was for having some influence over him? Some of the Fox people say some of the dumbest things.

Because this man raised over 170 million for the house shows he is deep state and a swamp creature. That is the opposite of what we need.

The ones that state publicly they raised more money as a plug for a vote misunderstands how patriotic Americans value our politicians values.

Had the Republican Party supported president Trump when he was President the Democrats wouldn’t still be in an unending feeding frenzy. The republicans don’t know how to support their own. Still don’t . I switched from democrat to independent because of the way the democrats were treating our elected president. Apparently, the republican party thought the democrat party would solve their internal problems. Not fully supporting their own did this in the first place. All your internal struggles should have stopped when you elected your parties presidential candidate. The republicans are still letting the democrats run roughshod over Trump, while they try to figure out their internal struggles. The Democrats are doing what ever they want, and they are letting individual states do their parties bidding. In the end it is going to bite us all, just like their open borders policies are. All because some of you republicans weren’t happy Trump won your party! The safe haven city’s are crying enough is enough we need help. Where can they get help? Ask for more federal money? Well, wait all the money is going to Ukraine. It sends a clear message of whom the government thinks is more deserving of their support. Why are we electing any of them, regardless of party? The safe haven cities are probably scratching their heads now, saying, hey wait! Don’t spend that appropriated money on the wall. We need it. Whoops too late! Thankfully President Biden has already told the world we need to spend it for what it was appropriated for, the wall. Finally, someone has said something that makes sense, and it was a Democrat.🤦🏻‍♂️ 🤷🏻‍♂️

Either Scalise or Jim Jordan would make a fine Speaker, this petty infighting among Republicans is so tiresome. Personally, I would rather see Jim Jordan continue what he is doing rather then get bogged-down in the details as a Speaker. For this reason, I support Steve Scalise.
