Texas Governor Greg Abbott is blaming the Biden administration for the surge in migrants crossing the U.S. Border into Eagle Pass Texas. Abbott says “high powered weapons” and Fentanyl are also being smuggled into the country. The Texas governor even discussed the crisis New York City which he says is not “nearly as bad” as the surge in migrants in Texas. Abbott says “the nation’s unprecedented border crisis is created by President Joe Biden’s open border policies”

The questions to ask people freaked about immigration: 1) How are people crossing national borders, fundamentally different than the many millions crossing state and town borders every day? 2) How is population growth through immigration, fundamentally different than the same growth through domestic birth? More workers, means more consumers, means more taxpayers, means even more jobs. It is really that simple.
