Donald Trump Jr. is expected to take the stand Wednesday in the New York civil fraud trial pitting his family and namesake company against New York Attorney General Letitia James. The former president’s eldest son is the first of four Trumps set to testify in the trial. Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump and their father Donald Trump are also expected to take the witness stand in the coming days. Seth Berenzweig, a defense and compliance attorney, joined CBS News to discuss the case.

This is sad. Do any of you know who the defendant is? There is none. The state of this case legit will have to go after every single business owner to make sure they did not butter the soup at all when using or selling their assets. Not surprised it’s not mentioned here that any case should include a damage caused. There is none in this case. Again, sad.
This man is obviously biased and reveling in anticipation of his preferred outcome! The problem with his evaluation is that the lender selects the appraiser to insure a favorable outcome for the institution doing the lending. The value anticipated by the entity desiring the loan is incidental to the value required by the institution to secure it’s loan. In these cases the institutions correctly established that their loans would be secure AND they were! In fact, they made a substantial profit from the interest on their loans and were pleased with the outcome. The prosecutor here is trying to create a crime, where no crime took place, strictly to further it’s own unlawful agenda.
