Thousands of people in Gaza have gathered at the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, as diplomatic efforts continue to open it before Israel starts its expected ground operation.

But the United Nations said there had been no progress in negotiations on reopening of the crossing.

Cairo blames Israel for “not co-operating”.

All routes out of Gaza are closed, as Israel continues its air strikes in response to Hamas’ attack of 7 October.

  1. Until today no proofs, evidences nor any true images of the acclaimed beheaded children/babies! While the whole world witnesses schools being bombed every other day in Gaza with thousands of children dying and rushed off to the hospital where their survival rates are extremely slim since Israeli terrorists target hospitals too!

  2. I don't know if there is another country as brutal and at the same time cowardly as Israel. What are dozens of Israeli soldiers waiting there on the day when Muslims will perform Friday prayers? What are you afraid of? What harm can those who are in the presence of Allah and worship Him do to you if you do not allow them to worship? Let me tell you this, you are such an ugly society that you pour sewage on people and drive people away from there. And one more thing: Israeli soldiers are very cowards!

  4. Now this here's a story about the Rafah Crossing.
Well the Rafah Crossing she runs down into Gaza.
There's a big UN checkpoint down there and you know
If you got certain things on you when you go through the checkpoint
Well you have to hand it over to the UN.
Well a Palestinian driver he pulled up to the checkpoint
And the UN inspector hollered and asked him what all he had in his truck.
    And the Palestinian said
    "I got food
    I got drink
    I got medicine
    I got medicine
    I got aaaall medicine."

Well the UN inspector said "You're alright boy
You can just go right on through"
So the Palestinian went on through the checkpoint.
And as he went through he started pickin' up a little bit of speed.
He got on through he turned and looked back at the UN inspector he said
    "Well I fooled you
    I fooled you
    I got rockets
    I got rockets
    I got aaaaaall rockets…"
Down the Rafah Crossing she's a mighty good road
Rafah Crossing it's the road to ride
Rafah Crossing it's a mighty good road
Well if you ride it you got to ride it like you find it
Get your ticket at the station for the Rafah Crossing…

  5. Israel bombing churches, hospitals, cutting powder, water. Killing Palestinians like rats in a barrel. If Russia did these things we would be sending weapons to Hamas.

  6. I think there are clear guidelines in international law as to what is permissible in war and what is not. And just let's be clear, Hamas violates those every single day. But when it comes to collective punishment such as the siege laid on Gaza, what possible military benefit does it give Israel to cut off electricity and water to 2.3 million people when you're trying to target a small number comparatively of Hamas fighters? It's clearly collective punishment. ……

  7. Just to add for those who said Palestine is not Hamass..
The people of Palestine voted for Hamas: Legislative elections were held in the Palestinian territories on 25 January 2006 in order to elect the second Palestinian Legislative Council.
