In this video, commuters shared their experiences on the newly completed first rail metro line in Lagos that runs between Okokomaiko and Lagos Marina. The Blue Line will go 27 kilometers (17 miles), stopping at 13 stations, and will take 35 minutes to complete the entire route. With no level crossings and no unrestricted access for people or vehicles, the entire Blue Line will run on a safe and exclusive right-of-way.

God bless the Lagos State Government for such a great feat and for its forward-looking and progressive attitude. God bless Nigeria π³π¬ π π
The railway still hasn't been completed, from Marina it stopped at Mile 2, going further to Okoko there's no railway way yet.
Wonderful…. I hope they would be able to maintain it for the next several years
There is nothing too strange or special in your copyright story. The biggest mistakes you made was reporting to BIDEN who has no time to read your letter because of the heavy load of problems on US. Are you aware that the US state secretary had a tour of Africa even up to Ghana and boycotted Nigeria? Before US will listen to you, Nigeria must adopt their LGBTQ which the whole African countries rejected and in addition to other benefits as usual. This is our issue and we can solve it without any signature from the WEST.. .
Do not destroy the foundation of our common Factor "NIGERIA"
No matter what must have divided us , will surely bring us together again. Have you ever written to BIDEN and his colleagues in the WEST to send back the looters of our treasuries even MADUEKE that left with MULTIBILLION DOLLARS ?
We have surmounted the biggest phenomenal and hope that God will see us through to the end . Let's patiently wait for the court outcome.
It's way too long overdue!
Now that this "test" seems to have gone well, they need to complete this Blue Line and then vigorously pursue the other lines promised to Lagosians!
It's long overdue that the standard lifestyle of Nigerians be improved!
It's been stagnant for far too many decades!
Wao this lovely. This exactly how it works in the UK. I am so glad seeing this new developments and believe that more better work could be done in Lagos and Nigeria as a whole. Guys please kindly keep up the good work. I love this
China to the world π π π π
time for other states to follow suit . All leaders must b held accountable as Lagos is not th only state in Nigeria
Passengers should maintain a good habit of not making loud noises and making rubbish on the train.
I love the shot at 0:27. Modern african metropolis look. Every city needs good infrastructure.
Interesting how only the Nigerian media is covering this achievement, but the foreign/western media will only show Makoko or other Lagos slums
Is the Lagos Blue Train currently operative now? If yes, which of the routes are operational for users ? 2:43
Good to see this but maintenance π€πΎπ€πΎ
Madam is not called train π is called metro line..
Iam very happy. Very good job doing. Do more. This is the dream of Late Latif Jakande of 1979. Kayode Jakande lives. Well done The following Govnors. More of this to circle Lagos State. Let other States emulate. Up Up Lagos. Kuponiyi.
The one thing missing at the stations is a parking lot. So that motorists can park and ride as well. And the parking lot should be named "Park & Ride"
This is exactly what is needed all across the nation. Owning a car is useless in Lagos because you can't really get far driving, because of congestion
Dis a perfect example to show d government consider d masses
Good job.
Please where in Lagos is it located?
The train looks sweet. I hope and pray that it is well maintained and we grow from here.
