  1. Udengs Eradiri was my junior in Uniben and he was identified to preside over our faculty of engineering as a smart guy. He looks prepared for the job and very articulate regarding his vision for Bayelsa state

  2. You know a man by his consistency to principles over time. Udengs have been very consistent right from his days at the University of Benin where I first knew about him.

Bayelsa and indeed states in the Niger Delta need young and smart leaders that can harness the resources of the region to deepen growth and development. The prevalence of politics of monetary settlement will not help the region. Focus should be on accelerating human resource development other than just focusing on "awa" oil. Oil has blinded us to other opportunities in the region. I still don't know why some states in the region are enmeshed in gargantuan debts without any meaningful corresponding development. Imagine Bayelsa in the same league as some states in the North , which are less endowed with natural resources, in terms of human development indices. While we continue to canvass for resource allocation, we should hold the leadership of the region to account for what they have done with the funds allocated to them.

  3. Udengs Eradiri is eminently qualify to be governor of Bayelsa state. He can make some difference in the state that is seriously looking for development.
