Team led by Engr Okonkwo Emeka-Konti successfully cleared all vehicles loading by the bridge head and put in place cones and cordon tapes.
All commercial vehicle were moved into their parks.
[1:45pm]
A fully loaded truck from Delta state lost control as it approached Anambra state and ran into the opposite lane.
Tragedy was averted as plenty of persons would have been crushed if buses were parked there as before.
[2:05pm]
ARTMA response team was immediately called upon to begin evacuation of accident vehicles.
Truck finally towed away.
[3:30pm]
Road finally cleared after heavy gridlock caused by the accident.
This serves as a special warning to all commercial vehicles that load by the bridge head.

How do you lose control when traffic coming into Anambra is already backed up on the bridge due to road damage? Common sense tells me this was actually brake failure as the trailer was going downhill from the bridge and couldn't stop because the damage I'm seeing is minimal.
There needs to be songs like this for the whole Nigeria…😊
