Agbado, a bustling community situated at the intersection of Lagos and Ogun states, has witnessed a significant leap in infrastructural development in recent years. This progress is attributed to the efforts of the Federal Government while Lagos State Government is also contributing to the infrastructural strides with the extension of the Lagos redline rail project to the community. Though the projects are on Ogun State territory.

In this video, we will explore the contrasting landscape of infrastructure development in Agbado, focusing on the efforts made by the Federal Government and Lagos State, while shedding light on the neglected roads and infrastructure by the Ogun State Government.
Infrastructure built by the federal government includes the Lateef Jakande Train Station Agbado of the Lagos Ibadan Train Service (LITS) which is also used by the Apapa-Kajola Mass Transit, and also the Agbado Overpass Bridge. Infrastructure the Lagos state government is embarking on in Agbado include; the Agbado train station of the Lagos redline rail project and also stabling yard for the redline trains.

  1. Data Abiodun is a big disappointment….if not because he lacks foresight, that red line terminal should have been constructed by his government and not by LASG.

THE state is not leveraging on closeness to lagos at all

  2. Ogun state fine boy governor doesn’t seem to know that the impact of those roads will boost the economy of the state. Some of those governors studied, lived or travels abroad, but they refused to bring development to their people. So sad indeed.

  3. Thank you for what you are doing but that those in government of the state are there for there own and family there not there to better life of the poor because all this people in government are agents if evil tank

  4. It's not surprising that all the train stations in Lagos at the moment both operational and new have good access roads but Ogun State has refused to fix the access roads to their train station. Imagine them creating a BRT system when all the major roads are in Bad conditions

  5. Thanks a trillion Zillion times Gbolahan for this lovely video, but please don't let those agbado boys molest you, they don't like progress and development in that area that's why they are blessed with horrible governors, Babatunde Fashola wanted to annex some part of that area to Lagos state for development, they gave excuses like he wants to snatch their inheritance, he wants to impose taxes, he wants to snatch their destiny, I even Obasanjo was backing them.
A stone throw away from where you covered is the adjacent road leading to the world bank assisted Lagos adiyan waterworks, the road is almost collapsing into the deep gorge at Hercules bus stop, the funniest part the largest pig farm in west Africa belonging to Lagos state government is also there but Mba the APC governors of Lagos state since bola Ahmed tinubu never gave it a thought to do something meaningful except Ambode whom they never let to return. It's quite shameful and disheartening that Nigerians love and prefer to suffer because they are loyal to their politicians
There are more stories to that area that are out of this world
