There are speculations that the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed is scheming to take the governorship ticket of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the state, after losing out in the party’s presidential primary.

To lend credence to this, the PDP is set to conduct a fresh governorship primary in the state, following the withdrawal of the candidate who was declared the winner of the primary from the race.

The Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Kassim, who resigned his position to contest the governorship primary unopposed, was said to be holding a brief for the Governor.
