Nigeria’s under 18 women handball team lost their second match of the 19th Africa Women’s Youth Handball Championship, on Sunday to Guinea with a 23-20 defeat.
Nigeria met a vengeful Guinea side that they defeated twice to win the IHF Women Trophy Africa Continental Phase in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Coach Shittu Agboola’s led tutored team had a lot of turnovers and didn’t take their chances but the Guineans were the better defenders.
