Ogudu is one of the most desirable neighbourhoods in Lagos State. The area was founded over 300 years ago, and has beautiful Government Residential areas. It also has a slum, known as Oguduland, where people live in squatter settlements.
At Winni Supermarket, you will find a wide range of food, beverages, clothing, household goods, kitchen equipment, and hair and beauty products. Other malls are Alpha Mall, Bibby Mart, and Shop N Pay.
Ogudu has some of the best residential estates in the country, with uniformed security guards stationed at the entrance and exit for safety.
Ogudu may lack a zoo, museum, or beaches, but it compensates with a plethora of restaurants, spas, and recreational facilities. If you want to work out on a Saturday morning, go to OGRA Recreational Centre.
Ogudu’s peacefulness does not imply that there is no nightlife. For night owls, there are numerous bars and clubs to explore.
Among them are De Cabana, Club 81, Class Elite Night Club, and Cardinal Point. Farmcity also has a club.
Ogudu can brag about having excellent primary and secondary schools. You can choose between private schools and public schools to meet your child’s needs. These schools also have highly qualified teachers and excellent facilities. Ogudu Grammar School, Essy Gold Schools, and Sceptre International School are among them.
