A disturbance in the south central Gulf of Mexico is being monitored for tropical development as it moves west. There’s only a tiny chance for it to develop into a tropical system and chances likely won’t improve later this week. So at this point, impacts are unlikely for SE TX. Philippe is still a Tropical storm in the central Atlantic that should remain over water for the next 5 days. Philippe will likely track north of the Lesser Antilles. Invest 91-L is in the far east Atlantic with still a high chance to become a tropical depression or tropical storm over the next 7 days. The next name on the list is Rina.
