We have less than two months left in the 2023 hurricane season. So far, we’ve had 19 named storms, 6 hurricanes and 3 major hurricanes in the Atlantic Basin this season. Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean remain quiet for now. But we still have two systems to watch in the Atlantic. Tropical storm Sean in the east-central Atlantic is barely hanging on and is very disorganized. It will likely fall apart over the weekend. A tropical wave to the SE of Sean, Invest 94-L, has a high chance of becoming our next tropical depression or storm over the next week. The next name would be Tammy.
