Disturbance in the SW Gulf of Mexico now has only a 10% extremely low chance to develop into a tropical system. Hurricane hunters investigated the system and found it disorganized with only 20-25 mph winds. However moisture from that system and powerful Hurricane Lidia in the eastern Pacific will head our way. That means an increased chance for showers this evening, tonight and Wednesday for SE Texas. There’s a high chance for a tropical wave to be our next tropical depression or storm in the eastern Atlantic.
