Jaclyn Seow is Head of ESG & Impact at Openspace Ventures, where she oversees ESG and impact strategies as part of their responsible investment approach including macroeconomic sensing, deal sourcing, investor relations and due diligence. She also works with portfolio companies to operationalize ESG risk and opportunity assessments towards sustainable growth. Openspace Ventures operates three funds focused on Series A and B technology opportunities in Southeast Asia, as well as OSV+, an Opportunity Fund addressing the mid-stage technology opportunity. Openspace manages over US$500mn of total committed capital. Selected investments include Gojek, HaloDoc, Whispir, Biofourmis, Finnomena, Tanihub Group and Love, Bonito. Portfolio companies have raised over US$6.5bn in follow-on capital. Openspace’s first and second funds, launched in 2014 and 2017 respectively, are both seeing top quartile performance against global peers according to Cambridge Associates and Preqin benchmarks.
