Nyesom Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, has criticised Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, for refusing to recognise the Presidential Election Tribunal’s ruling from Wednesday. Wike said in an exclusive interview with Channels Television yesterday that he had faith in the judiciary when Peter Obi was reinstalled as the executive governor of Anambra State, but that he would not accept the verdict this time around because it went against him.

The FCT minister has said that Peter Obi should come clean with Nigerians about whether or not he paid a bribe to get reinstalled as the governor of Anambra State.
Was Peter Obi’s removal as governor not a victory in the eyes of the Supreme Court? Was he bribed in any way? Let him make his announcement immediately. Did he not reinstate his mandate as governor at the Supreme Court when he was ousted from office? The judiciary was correct before the decision was made, but it is incorrect now. Says Wike.
