Aisha Yesufu, a strong supporter of Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has said that nothing will make her betray the former Anambra State Governor.
Yesufu in a post on her official X account @AishaYesufu, said any day their values no longer align, she will move on.
She said: “The first time Peter Obi @PeterObi called me I told him two things. I am not nice and I will tell you things as they are. I don’t have time for sycophancy.
“Your back will always be safe with me. Politics they say is about betrayal. I will rather die than betray anyone. The day our values no longer align, I will tell you and move on.”

Aisha Yesufu was the chairwoman of the Obi/Datti campaign fund committee.
The committee last week rendered an account of the campaign funds of the 2023 election.
The report showed N1.4 billion was received by the committee for the election. While Nigerians contributed nearly N600 million to the committee, the candidate of the party, Obi gave N800 million.
At the end of the election and litigation, about N19 million is said to be remaining in the account of the committee.
