From information by barrister Yaro, it seems that Nigerian government has lost control of much of North West to Fulani bandits from Mali, Niger, Chad etc. Could it be the reason the military concentrate on South East where security men sack villages, burn their houses for loss of a single soldier. It is not impossible that the terrorists have informants within the area. If such number of soldiers had died anywhere in the South East, no matter the circumstances, the youths in the area would be wiped out and the villages burnt down. I am at sea why our Northern legislators are opposed to state and local government policing. If that is allowed the state and local government police would be equipped with sophisticated guns to face the killer terrorists.
