What is the school fees of the students used for? Why can't the school maintain its own classes? Those questions need answering. Kudos to the guys helping out though but what's the plan for the long term?
Rochas is near useless! He's spent 7 years as Governor yet a town that's supposed to be only a 5 minute drive from Owerri has no road leading to and within it, and it's main secondary school is such a disgrace. Outside Owerri, i don't see what that man has done.
Thank God for the sons and daughters of Imo state! What people do not know is that most schools, hospitals/clinics in Igboland are built partially or fully by the indigenes of the state! That is why most people do not see that Igbo people have been greatly marginalized.
Same goes to the state road in Ebom Mbieri, which is even closer to Owerri. The erosion caused by the dilapidated road is so much that people are fleeing from their homes! The deputy governor's ancestral village is near by and he fixed part of the road that leads to his house only! Could you imagine?
It's official channels tv is now stupid. How can this be making the news now. 1 block of classroom and it's on the news. How are the toilets, the dormitories, the labs, do they even have access to computers and libraries? Leaders of tomorrow. It is your sons and daughters that they will lead. The masses are suffering and are insulted on top of that. We need change.
Imagine how intelligent and articulate the students are with the poor state of things how much more if things are as they should. Its Govt. Job to buid good schools.
I had visited this school backed in days of my secondary school, I thanks those that has contributed for the new block thanks God bless you all also in my community Owalla Avuvu for those re making efforts to ensure Owalla Avuvu has their own secondary school I give you guy's kudo.
That's my village home town

Imo State students are brilliant.
The leaders of the community are asking the people to rebuild the town why they pocket the funds allocated to the projects.
