Tinubu assigns new appointments – New National Star

Four new members of the National Council on Privatization (NCP), which represents the private sector on the council, have been appointed by President Bola Tinubu.

Oluwole Osin from the South-West, Mohammed Mustapha Bintube from the North-East, Olayiwola Yahaya from the North-Central, and Akwa Effion Okon from the South-South are the four new members.

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, revealed this in a statement on Thursday.

Tinubu gave the newly appointed Council members an assignment to use their best private sector knowledge to make sure Nigerians get the most out of investments made on their behalf.

In the meantime, Tinubu has just authorized Heineken Lokpobiri, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, would serve as The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board’s (NCDMB) chairman.

In addition to Lokpobiri, other Nigerians appointed to the Board are: Sadiq Abubakar; Member; Raphael Samuel; Member; Bekearedebo Augusta Warrens; Member; Nicolas Odinuwe; Member; Oritsemyiwa Eyesan; Member/EVP Upstream, NNPCL; Gbenga Komolafe; Member/CEO, NUPRC; and Member/Engineer Felix Omatsola Ogbe.
