We went to Cross River State. A millennia ago, the Bantus migrated from here down south, permeating central, east, and southern Africa with the exception of South Africa and Namibia. Yes, their migratory starting point was here in Nigeria, stretching across Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and Benue states.
We want to understand how people will live in close proximity for millennia yet have different languages, customs, and traditions. Follow us as we present to you some interesting insights about Cross River State in episode 1 of “The Connection”.
