The Supreme Court has fixed tomorrow (Thursday) for judgment in the appeals filed by the presidential candidates of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25.
Director of Information, Supreme Court, Dr Festus Akande, confirmed the date for the ruling on Wednesday, in a statement.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared President Tinubu as winner of the election with Atiku of PDP and Obi of Labour Party coming second and third at the presidential poll.
Both PDP and LP had on Monday argued their cases before the apex court while the appeal of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and its presidential candidate, Chichi Ojei, was dismissed after they withdrew it.
The Presidential Election Petitions Court had on September 6 dismissed the petitions of both parties for lack of evidence, but Obi and Atiku filed appeals.
