The Kano State Hisbah Board has been described as a tool used by Northern political elites to repress civilization in the North.
In a statement on X on Tuesday, Bright Friday alleged that the political elites in the North denied Northerners education in a bid to control them for political use.
Friday noted that for the political elites to enforce their clandestine agenda, Hisbah was “set up” as a political watchdog operating under the guise of religion.
Friday’s statement reads, “The northern elite has realized that social media and civilization are giving momentum to the people they denied education to keep controlling them for their political power.
“The only available option is to set up this so-called Hisbah to keep denying them civilization.”
