Mr. Alagoa Morris, the Bayelsa Coordinator of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has switched parties and joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) instead of the Labour Party (LP).

Morris, an advocate for environmental protection, made the declaration on Thursday in Yenagoa, a week before the November 11 Bayelsa governorship election.

He said that he fully supports Gov. Duoye Diri’s re-election because he has done so much good, some of which is not public knowledge.

The incumbent governor is the best of the big candidates, so I’ve decided to back him,” he explained.

Based on the local candidates running in the upcoming election on November 11, only Diri deserves your vote.

I wasn’t a Labour Party member when I was selected state coordinator, but now that I’ve finished my term, everything’s fine.

Yesterday I spoke with Governor Douye Diri, and after looking at the other candidates, I’ve come to the conclusion that he’s the one we should back.

This is because, as current events have demonstrated, anyone who enters will report finding an empty treasury upon their arrival.

As a result, the one that is currently cooperating with development partners and other stakeholders need to be permitted to carry on.

There is a lot about what Diri has done that hasn’t been made public. “He’s making an effort, and I believe that’s great news.
