Amidst all the political brouhaha on going in the nation, Peter Obi seems undisturbed as he goes about his normal duties.
Earlier today, Peter Obi alongside his wife, Margaret Peter Obi were both in kano for the burial of Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed‘s inlaw.
He wrote below :
“Today, my wife and I were in Kano State, to condole with the family of Late Senator Bello Yusuf Maitama, a respected elder statesman who served the nation as Minister of Internal Affairs.

He was also the Father-in-Law to the Vice Presidential Candidate of our Party, Sen Datti Baba-Ahmed. I also commiserate with the Emir of Kano, His Majesty Aminu Ado Bayero, the Emir of Bichi, His Royal Highness Nasiru Ado Bayero and indeed all Nigerians, over the death of this respected Nigerian, who contributed immensely to the development of our nation. May Almighty Allah forgive his sins, and grant him eternal rest and grant his family, and all who mourn him, the fortitude to bear his irreplaceable loss. -PO
