The spokesperson for the Peter Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Yunusa Tanko, has disclosed that Peter Obi’s legal team is preparing to file an appeal at the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
There are no plans to replace any members of his legal team, according to Tanko.
Tanko and the National Legal Adviser of LP, Kehinde Edun, made these statements to reporters.
“I can confirm that we have not yet filed the appeal. That will be done between now and Tuesday,” Tanko said.
“We are also not seeking to engage or alter our team of lawyers,” he added.
Edun clarified, “We have not yet filed the appeal because we are still within the time frame.
“It will be done shortly. Our legal team is still intact, and they are some of our best resources,” he stated.
“There is no reason to replace them since we have full confidence in their abilities,” Edun concluded.

The LP presidential candidate has since expressed his determination to challenge the tribunal’s verdict at the highest court.
