Bashir Ahmad, a former media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, has told Peter Obi and his supporters to stop harassing Chicago State University because of its refusal to release the academic documents of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Obi is running for president as a member of the Labour Party in the upcoming 2023 election.
Remember that when Peoples Democratic Party candidate Atiku Abubakar filed a petition contesting the president’s educational qualifications, the university recently verified that Tinubu is one of its alumni. However, several opposing party members disputed the credentials, arguing that the name provided by Chicago State University was inconsistent with the candidate’s actual identity.
Instead than attacking the institution online, Bashir Ahmad said that Peter Obi and his followers should have serious dialogues with it.
