The crisis facing the Peoples Democratic Party as a result of the Presidential primary election may be taking it’s toll on the two neighbouring states of Bayelsa and Rivers.
This is as the Rivers state government has commenced the demolition of property belonging to Bayelsa state at Number 5 and 9 Akassa street at the old GRA in Port Harcourt.
Speaking to journalists in Yenagoa, the state’s Commissioner for Land and Housing, Esau Andrew said, the eviction notice was issued just two weeks ago by the Rivers state authorities, describing the action as unfortunate and unfair to Bayelsa state
