The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, has advised Nigerian youths not to put themselves under pressure of living above their means, but start small and add value wherever they find themselves.

Oyedepo, who spoke at the maiden convocation of Dominion University, Ibadan, emphasised that they must not despise little beginnings.

The Cleric, who prayed for the graduating students, charged them to stay connected to God, and not be influenced by negative vices.

He said: “You must have something you are adding as value; this is an investment into the future. There is no investment in adding value that is wasted. Start small, start from somewhere. Every giant is born as a baby. Don’t put yourself under pressure.”

The Chancellor, Bishop Victor Adelakun, said the school is committed to creating a legacy of excellence in education, research and service.

“I encourage each graduating student to carry forward the values of integrity, curiosity and empathy that have been instilled in you during your time at this institution.”

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olajide Olorunisola, enjoined the graduands to be good ambassadors of the institution.

He said: “We are graduating a total of 96 students who have completed their four-yeartraining in the 11 academic programmes domiciled in the Faculties of Art, Social and Management Sciences, Computer and Applied Sciences. Of the graduating students, 22 bagged first class.
