In Osun, more than twenty-one thousand patients have benefitted from the free medical and surgical service organised by the State Government.
The exercise took place in nine Federal Constituencies which make-up the state, and also recorded at least over two thousand beneficiaries in each of the Constituencies.
Addressing journalists in Osogbo, the Chief Medical Director of the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Professor Peter Olaitan said more than nine thousand persons were treated for eye problem out of which over two thousand were given glasses.
