Ondo Guber: Aspirants Promise Use Of Hi-tech, Amotekun, Tourism To Make Desired Change

A head of the Ondo State, All Progressives Congress’ primary election, one of the leading aspirants, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim says his priority would be tackling insecurity with the aid of technology.

He disclosed this to newsmen at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja after submitting his expression of interest and nomination forms.

He said apart from deploying hi-tech in the fight against insecurity in the state, he will support the Western Security Architecture known as “Amotekun” with modern equipment to combat security challenges in the state.

Senator Ibrahim who promised to pay about one hundred and forty million naira to the ruling party as fee for membership forms for one hundred thousand delegates also said when given the opportunity to serve, he will make sure that the bitumen deposit in the state will be put to use.

Another aspirant, Wale Akinterinwa promised to turn the fortunes of Ondo state around as he would kick start the reform process from the civil service.

He however, noted that he will focus on marine economy, agriculture, Tourism as well as education to ensure human capacity development.
