The victory of governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the just concluded primary election has been affirmed by the APC Congress in line with the constitution of the party.
The Congress made up of delegates from the 203 wards made the affirmation following the official announcement of the primary election result by the chief returning officer and governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo.
Govermor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in his acceptance speech, thanked members of the party especially the delegates with a promise not to betray their trust.
Aiyedatiwa who saluted the courage of other aspirants, extended hands of fellowship to them, describing the contest as a family affair.
